Mbare Musika, Harare

Free business listing for Mbare Musika traders, with buyers messaging you on WhatsApp

Half the country passes through Mbare in one form or another. Produce comes in from the farms, buses leave for every province, and resellers load up and go. Your regulars know your spot. This page is about everyone else, the buyer who has heard of you but has no idea which row you are on.

List your stall for free

Free to list. No account, no card, and no commission on anything you sell.

How this works, in plain words

  1. You fill in one short form

Your name, what you sell, where you trade and your WhatsApp number. It takes a few minutes on a phone. There is no account to open and no password to remember.

  2. We put a page up for you

A real page on the internet with its own address, showing your photos and your line of goods. You do not build it and you do not look after it. There is no website involved anywhere in this.

  3. Buyers message you on WhatsApp

Your page has a button. A buyer taps it and a normal WhatsApp chat opens with you, on the same number you use all day. Nothing to download, nothing new to learn.

It is free to list and there is nothing to pay later. We never handle the money, so you sell in whatever currency you price in and all of it stays with you.

A reseller wants to know before they load a vehicle

Somebody restocking a shop in Rusape or Chinhoyi is deciding what to buy before they even set off. If your goods and your prices are already in front of them, the order is half agreed by the time they reach your stall.

  • Photos of your goods, your shop or your work
  • A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with you
  • Your own page with its own web address

A page holds still, a status does not

The photo you posted this morning is gone by tomorrow, and the buyer who liked it has no way back to you. Your listing keeps the pictures where they are and can still be found next month by somebody who only half remembers your name.

  • Your own page with its own web address
  • A real page search engines can read, not a photo in a group
  • Listed under your category and your city
One tap from your listing opens a chat, on the WhatsApp you already use.

The buses leaving Mbare are full from November

From late in the year people start travelling kumusha, and they do not travel empty. Groceries, blankets, building materials and cooking oil go onto the roof of every bus out of here. Much of it is chosen and paid for by somebody working in town or abroad, on a phone, a week or two ahead. Being reachable in a chat is how you are part of that conversation.

Nothing to pay, now or later

No listing fee, nothing to renew, and no commission on anything you sell. We have no way to take payment at all, which is the simplest possible answer to what this costs.

Questions

Do I need a website for this?

No. You will never need one. The page we put up is the thing customers find, and we make it and host it for you.

What does it cost?

Nothing to list and nothing afterwards. There is no paid tier and no commission.

Do I need a smartphone?

If you can use WhatsApp you can use this. Somebody else can even fill in the form for you, as long as the WhatsApp number on it is yours.

Who sees my number?

Only the customer who taps the button, in a normal chat with you. We do not sell it on.
