The organiser is coordinating everybody at once
One relative ends up holding the whole thing together, often from another district and frequently from another country. They need to see what you provide and then ask about a date, in that order, without an international call. A page with photos and a message button does both.
- Photos of your goods, your shop or your work
- A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with you
- Your own page with its own web address
One occasion pulls in a dozen trades
Tents and chairs, catering, sound, decor, transport, photography, and then the wedding does it again months later. The family is looking for all of it in the same few weeks. Your listing sits under the category and district you choose.
- Listed under your category and your city
- Customers can leave a rating and a review
- Free to list, with nothing to pay later
The dates are agreed between families, months ahead
A gusaba is not booked in a week. Two families settle a date, the inkwano is discussed, and everything else is arranged around that, often while the money is still being gathered. Relatives abroad are expected to contribute and frequently sponsor one part outright, choosing the caterer or photographer themselves from photos, because they cannot easily telephone Rwanda but can message it for nothing.
A listing, not an agency
We do not take a commission, we do not handle bookings, and we do not send you work. We make you findable and easy to reach. Winning the job is still yours, which is why nobody takes a cut of it.
- No commission on anything you sell
- Every listing is checked before it goes live
Be listed while the families are still planning
One short form, free, and your page goes up once it has been checked.
Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. No listing fee, no commission on jobs, and no paid tier.
Can families see my past work?
Yes. Photos are part of the listing, and for this work they usually decide whether anybody messages.
Can a relative abroad reach me?
That is what the message button is for, and it works from any country.
Do I have to keep it updated?
No. It stays as you left it.
